Whimsical works of Art, happy paintings, signed archival reproductions and children's books. The pictures I paint have a dream-like quality. My reds are soft as the blush of a cheek, yet my pink is hot, never shy. Yellow is the the happy feeling I get standing in a field of ripe Indiana corn. Greens are dappled, deep and mysterious, like an emerald forest. My blue is clear and calm, my purple regal, yet soft as a princess gown. Albert Einstein knew that living with lovely art enhanced his personal creativity. BONNIE GORDON-LUCAS illustrates magazines, children's books, CD covers, greeting cards, rubber stamps, fabric, and wallpaper. Her work is humorous and energetic with a timeless, lyrical flow. Her lines are drawn with ink made from the hulls of walnuts. She has been a free-lance illustrator for over 30 years. Her studio is a farmhouse surrounded by frogs, flowers, and fairies. |
